01/ Governance and Controls - Outsourcing

 

Governance and Controls, being part of TDS APAC COO office, provides critical infrastructure services that supports the trading, investment and corporate banking functions of TD Securities. The team has a governance mandate that comprises of core areas: Third Party Governance (including Outsourcing), Business Resiliency, and Business Governance and Controls.

 

Specific Attributes:

  • Previous experience in a finance role within a financial institution

  • Knowledge on industry regulations

  • Attention to details

  • Ability to demonstrate governance, control, and risk management mindsets

 

02/ Strategic Initiatives

 

The Strategic Initiatives function within the APAC COO office supports key business strategies and initiatives across the region. The function works closely with key stakeholders to coordinate and deliver change in support of the TD Securities and TD Global Investment Solutions.

 

Specific Attributes

  • Previous experience in financial institutions with roles in one or more core support functions such as risk management and/or operations,

  • Management support for regional governance and first line supervision,

  • Knowledge of industry regulations and market best practices within Asia,

  • Ability to collaborate with other key stakeholders to deliver projects and/or small tech changes,

  • Ability to work within tight deadlines and manage various competing priorities,

  • Effective communication skills

03/ Human Resources

 

The Human Resources Business Partner function sits within the Human Resources Business Group in TD Securities. The incumbent will work with HR Business Partners and regional colleagues to provide HR support and advice to multiple stakeholders and develop recommendations and solutions for them on a variety of employment, regulatory and legislative matters. Singapore is the main hub for TD Securities in Asia Pacific with several key business lines including Capital Markets, Technology and Global Business Operations & Services.

This is an individual contributor role and an excellent opportunity to develop with a growing organisation in the region, and work together with an international team.

 

Specific Attributes

  • Previous experience in a HR role supporting the HR Business Partners with tactical and operational HR matters,

  • Experience delivering on HR projects (i.e. Talent Review, Pulse, campus/lateral recruitment events, requests from our regulators) helpful,

  • Cross-regional experience also beneficial but not required.
