01/ Technology

 

Our Technology Division provides world-class technology services to both TD Securities and TD Bank on a global 'Follow-the-Sun' model.  Our professionals in the Asia Pacific region work in the following areas:

 

  • Software Development & Engineering with a focus on 'RegTech' (ie. Regulatory Technology)

  • Test Automation & Engineering

  • Engineering Operations & Support

  • Technology Controls Office focused on technology risk and regulatory compliance

  • Enterprise Information Management ('Big Data')

  • Fusion Centre focused on cyber security

  • Infrastructure Workspace

  • Infrastructure Service Centre Operations

  • Infrastructure Command Centre

 

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to rotate across various areas within our Technology department, subject to experience and skillset of the candidate.

 

Specific Attributes:

We are looking for candidates with prior experience or relevant skills in any of the following domains:

  • software development

  • production support

  • test automation and engineering

  • infrastructure

  • cyber security

  • project management

 

 

 

02/ Finance

 

TD Securities Singapore Finance is a part of the wider TD Securities Finance group. As one of the three regional finance groups for the Wholesale Banking segment of TD Bank Group, it has a key role in Singapore providing financial, management, liquidity and regulatory reporting. In addition, by its nature as a primary support and control group in the region, TDS Finance Singapore provides business information supporting projects and initiatives often as the liaison with the other groups and segments in Canada but also with the other regions (Europe and US).

 

The successful candidate will:

  • Collaborate with business units to understand their financial needs and provide support to achieve their strategic objectives.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting and analysis.

Specific Attributes:

  • Previous experience in a finance role within a financial institution

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders

  • Ability to work both as an individual contributor and in a team-based environment

 

 

 

03/ Business Governance and Strategy

 

Our Business Governance and Strategy team supports our business line in a wide range of areas to ensure we are maximizing the full capabilities and partnerships within the Firm and are compliant with regional and global practices and frameworks.

 

The successful candidate will:

  • Participate in the designing and implementing first line controls, aligning to the TD risk management framework.

  • Collaborate with colleagues across the organisation to develop and execute strategies to improve governance and control processes.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams, external auditors and regulatory bodies.

Specific Attributes:

  • Strong collaborator who engages colleagues, business partners, and external stakeholders

  • Excellent analytical skills in assessing risk, issues and challenging the status quo

  • Possess a drive for continuous improvement

  • Able to influence all parties while driving delivery forward
